Can I place my order to arrive at a later date?
Yes. In fact, we encourage you to place your order early especially during busy holiday seasons.
Can I include a special card message with my gift? Absolutely! Your special message is the most important part of each gift you send. It is what makes each gift unique. Simply fill out your sentiments in the card message box, and we will put your message on one of our matching gift cards to be included with your gift.
Why is there sales tax (or no sales tax) added to my order? All orders to be delivered within Virginia must be charged sales tax.
What should I do if I am having difficulty placing my order? We are available almost 24/7, so if you are having difficulty, please don't hesitate to contact us anytime via e-mail at info @ egpgifts.com or call toll-free 1-866-839-5414, we are always here to help.
What methods of payment do you accept? We accept MasterCard, VISA, and American Express. We also offer corporate billing options with approved credit.
When is my credit card charged? Your credit card will be charged when your order has been completed and is ready to ship.
How can I request a copy of my invoice? If you would like a copy of your invoice, please include your request in the special instructions box or send us a request by e-mail.
What methods of shipping do you use? We ship using UPS for Ground, Next Day, 2nd Day and 3-Day shipments as well as shipments to Alaska & Hawaii, unless otherwise requested. We do not require signatures for our deliveries and shipped packages (except overnight). Please advise us if you wish to use this service for your gift order, and we will be happy to accommodate you.
When will my order be shipped? We strive to ship every order within 24 hours. If you have an urgent request, please contact us, we will try to accommodate your needs.
How long will it take for my gift basket to arrive? Depending on destination, urgency and method of shipment, your gift basket will arrive anywhere between 1-7 days. See USP shipping map for more exact information. No refunds will be issued for late deliveries. Specific delivery dates can not be guaranteed due to weather conditions, holidays, location of recipient, or other unforeseeable factors. We will make every effort to get your gift to your recipient on time.
How much does shipping cost? Shipping costs depend upon urgency and zip code. Please see shipping page for more detailed information. Shipping is added to your order by your chosen method. If you do not choose a shipping/delivery method, the most economical will be chosen for you, and will be added to your total.
Do you ship Internationally? Currently we do not ship internationally.
What about shipments to and Hawaii & Alaska? We currently ship via USP Express which generally takes 2-3 days. Please call for shipping rates for these destinations.
Can I bill my shipping charges to my own UPS account? Yes, we would be happy to bill your account. We will include a $5.00 handling charge for this service.
Do you offer local hand delivery? Yes, we offer hand delivery within the limited DC metropolitan area.
Do you offer hand delivery to hospitals, hotels and schools? Yes, we offer local as well as shipping to hospitals, hotels and schools. However, it is the responsibility of the person sending the gift to make certain guest/patient/student will be at the location to accept the gift upon arrival. We do not accept responsibility if recipient is no longer at place of address. We will make every effort to re-route to another address that is provided to us for an additional re-delivery charge. We do not offer refunds due to unavailability of recipients
When will my hand delivered gift arrive?
We will make our best attempt to hand deliver orders placed by 10:00 am EST to be delivered the next business day. Orders received after 10:00 am EST will be delivered the following business day. We can not guarantee delivery time.
Do you offer same day delivery? Yes, same day delivery is available in local surrounding areas. If your order is placed after 10:00 a.m. a $20.00 service charge will be added.
Do you offer Saturday delivery? No, we currently do not offer Saturday hand delivery. However, many of the shipping methods that we offer, deliver on weekends. Please specify if you want Saturday delivery when placing your order.
How much is local delivery? Local delivery charges vary dependent on location and quantity of baskets. Please call for pricing.
How will I know if my order has been shipped? You will be notified via e-mail confirming your order has shipped along with any and all tracking numbers.
What if my gift does not arrive on time, or does not arrive? Once your gift has been sent out for delivery/shipping, every effort will be made to track your package to it's destination. We are not able to control packages once they leave our store, and are not responsible for packages that are delayed, lost or stolen due to unforeseeable instances such as weather, vehicle breakdowns, unable to locate addresses, customer mistakes such as incorrect addresses, unavailability of recipients, etc. We do not offer refunds or exchanges. If your package requires re-routing, there will be an additional fee. We will be happy to file a claim for you in the event your package is lost or stolen with the shipping/courier company that handled your package. If the shipping/courier company deems the loss of the package as their fault, we will be happy to issue a replacement for you.
How do I order several of the same gift basket to be sent to different addresses? You can either call us at 1-866-839-5414 to place your order, or fax your order to 540-668-7122 using our multiple order form to avoid any mistakes that could occur with large or confusing orders.
What happens if I need to change or cancel my order after my gift has been shipped/delivered? A 24 hour notice is required to cancel or change an order. We can not offer refunds for items that are cancelled or changed (this includes incorrect addresses) after order has been shipped or has gone out for delivery. Please check all address submissions carefully to avoid additional shipping charges. It is your responsibility to make sure your recipient will be available to accept their gift on the date/time of scheduled arrival. Every effort will be made to reschedule your package for delivery at a later date (for an additional charge) if you so choose. Again, we do not offer refunds for packages that do not arrive due to unavailability of recipients
Will my gift basket arrive in good condition? We take every measure to insure your gift basket arrives in perfect condition. All of our baskets to be shipped are securely wrapped in bubble wrap and cushioned to protect your gift in route to its destination. Our goal is to make sure every shipped basket looks as good as one of our hand delivered baskets. All of our hand delivered baskets are also secured during delivery and are handled by professionals to insure a perfect gift every time. Each package we ship is insured. In the event that a package is received damaged, you must contact us within 24 hours. A damage claim will then be filed with the company that shipped the package. If the shipping company deems the package to be damaged, and the claim to be settled, the customer will be compensated for any inconvenience. We do not guarantee arrival time on shipped items.
I don't see exactly what I am looking for, can you create a custom design for me? Yes! We specialize in custom designed gift baskets. Just let us know what you have in mind and we will design to your specifications.
What if I just want to change a few items in one of your designs? Although we strive to design each basket with a variety of products, not every person has the same tastes. With this in mind, we are open to making any changes that you request.
Can I send you an item to include in my custom basket? Yes. We love for our customers to send us personal items to place within our designs...that's what makes them unique!
What if you are out of a particular item? Due to the fact that we are always on the lookout for new and exciting gourmet products (which are all tested for taste and quality) we reserve the right to substitute products of equal or greater value for items shown in our designs.
What if my recipient has diet restrictions? Our extensive product line includes a wide variety of healthy products as well as designs without food products to accommodate those with dietary restrictions
Do you offer fruit baskets? Yes, we offer fresh hand selected fruit in all of our fruit basket designs. Our fruit baskets are available for local hand delivery only.
Why are there different prices on some gift basket designs, but not on all? We offer a wide range of prices to meet every budget, and have included a size & price range in many of our designs. If you are in need of a smaller or larger size in one of our designs, please contact us, we will be happy to accommodate your needs.
How do I know what exactly is included in each basket? We list all contents in each one of our designs based upon the design pictured. A smaller size of the same design will not contain all the products listed, and larger sizes of the design will contain additional products. If you would like a complete listing of products for a particular basket, please contact us at anytime.
Why are some baskets priced higher than others? Not only do we offer a wide variety of designs, we also offer a wide range of products. Our gourmet foods are high quality and are more expensive than everyday snack foods, so our gourmet baskets will naturally be priced higher than our snack food baskets.
Do you design your own gift baskets, or are they drop shipped from a gift warehouse? All of our gift baskets are our own designs, and are made to order right here in our shop. Your recipient will not find their gift basket sitting on a discount store shelf somewhere or in warehouse storage containing dusty, aging products. Each order is hand made with fresh, high quality products, hand tied bow and exceptional attention to detail.
Do you ship chocolate in warm weather? During warm weather, we normally do not ship products containing chocolate. We will substitute other quality products in place of these items. If you simply must have chocolate (and we understand, sometimes you do), please note that we will ship with cold packs for an additional charge. We can not be held responsible of melting.
What will my gift basket look like? All of our designs will arrive as pictured, and will be finished with shrink wrap or yards of cello, and will be topped with one of our beautiful coordinating hand tied bows. All products and items within each basket are secured so that each basket will arrive in picture perfect condition.
What are your store hours? We can be reached from 9:00-5:00 EST Monday-Friday. We are reachable 24/7 either by fax at (540) 668-7122 or e-mail. If you have an emergency or have important questions, please don't hesitate to contact us after hours.

What is your privacy policy? All information you submit to Executive Gift Planners will be kept strictly confidential, and will never be shared or sold. If you would like information sent to you about special promotions or upcoming events, please sign up for our newsletter. All customers placing an order will be automatically placed on our newsletter list.
What is your refund/return policy? We do not accept exchanges. Please see our policy above concerning our specific shipping/delivery policies. Upon the return of the unopened gift basket, a credit or a refund (minus shipping/delivery charges and a 20% restocking fee) will be issued upon prior customer service approval.
Do you guarantee your gift baskets? We are proud of the designs we create and guarantee that our products will be fresh. The processing of your order to be filled in a reasonable amount of time. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us immediately so that we may have a chance to correct the problem.
